How this tool works
Things that usually go wrong
- Case-Sensitive Duplicates: Spreadsheet deduplication treats "User@Domain.com" and "user@domain.com" as distinct. DataFix lowercases all emails before matching.
- Invisible Spaces in Emails: Pasted addresses often carry spaces at the end, causing hard bounces. DataFix trims all whitespace.
- Malformed Domains: Addresses like "user@domain..com" or missing top-level domains are flagged as invalid for manual review.
Edge cases we tested
Safely handled without schema corruption.
Sanitized prior to processing.
Streamed via client-side Web Worker without tab freezing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this lower my email bounce rate?
Yes! Removing malformed syntax and duplicate addresses prevents immediate hard bounces.
Does it check if the mailbox actually exists?
This tool performs syntax, format, and structural validation in-browser. It does not ping mail servers to protect privacy.
Can I filter out role-based emails like info@ and admin@?
Yes. You can flag or filter out generic group mailboxes.
Is my subscriber list private?
Your rows never leave your browser. All processing runs in a JavaScript Web Worker inside this tab.
