How this tool works
Things that usually go wrong
- Malformed Emails Without @: Emails missing an @ symbol cause formula crashes. DataFix leaves the domain blank and flags the invalid row.
- Mixed Casing in Domains: Domains with varying capitalization create split company accounts. DataFix lowercases all domain names.
- Leading/Trailing Spaces in Email Cells: Spaces around the email create dirty domain strings. DataFix trims cells before parsing.
Edge cases we tested
Safely handled without schema corruption.
Sanitized prior to processing.
Streamed via client-side Web Worker without tab freezing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it identify free webmail providers like Gmail and Yahoo?
Yes! You can enable a boolean column that flags consumer domains (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, iCloud).
What happens if a row contains an invalid email?
The domain cell is left blank, and the row is flagged so you can review it.
Does it support subdomains like sub.domain.com?
Yes. The full domain following the @ symbol is preserved accurately.
Is my lead list kept private?
Your rows never leave your browser. All processing runs in a JavaScript Web Worker inside this tab.
